Har Ki Dun means Valley of Gods. The valley 3566 mts, offers rich jungles abundant in bird and animal life, variety of alpine flowers and plants, and spectacular view of of famous peaks of Swargarohini, Bandar Poonch, Kala Nag or Black peak and Har Ki Dun peak 
This moderate trek through terraced mountain fields, lush green grassy land and conifer forests takes you to one of the least explored regions of Garhwal Himalayan region, where the passage of time has not affected the lifestyle of the simple hill folk inhabiting this region.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Delhi

  • Transfer to Hotel
  • Rest and relax
  • Overnight at Delhi

Day 2 – Delhi-Dehradoon-Sankri

  • Transfer to Dehradoon by Air
  • Transfer to Sankri (200 km / 10 hrs)
  • Overnight at Sankri

Day 3 – Sankri-Taluka - 6 hrs wlak

  • Walk to Taluka - 12 km / 6 hrs.
  • Overnight at Camp.

Day 4 – Taluka-Gangaar  - 6 hrs walk

  • Another 12 km trek trough forests and apple orchards till Osla (2,560 m) and continue till Seema and then Ghangaar.
  • Overnight at Camp

Day 5 – Ghangaar - Har-Ki-Doon- 6 hrs walk

  • A trek of roughly 11 km after fueling ourselves with breakfast and carrying packed lunch will get us to our destination. The area is home to a number of rare species of Himalayan birds and flowers, and is full of birch and spruce. After the last steep climb of approximately 200m, you have the grassy field of Har-ki-Dun divided by the clear and calm Karmanasha stream. 
  • Overnight at Camp

Day 6 – Har ki Doon-Jaundhar Glacier-Seema - 6 hrs walk

  • After a a short climb of 2 km to Jaundhar glacier, the trek goes downhill to Seema.
  • Overnight at Camp

Day 7 – Seema-Taluka

  • Retracing the steps back.
  • Overnight at Camp.

Day 8 – Taluka-Sankri

  • Retracing the steps back.
  • Overnight at Camp.

Day 6 – Sankri-Mussoorie

  • Drive to Mussoorie.
  • Rest and relax.
  • Overnight at Mussoorie.

Day 11 – Mussoorie-Dehradoon - Delhi

  • Check-out from Hotel after breakfast
  • Transfer to Dehradoon Airport
  • Transfer to Delhi by Air
