- Cost: We include the fuel, state permit, tax, parking charges, driver’s allowance in the cost of the car. There are no hidden charges to be claimed later. However, to keep it reasonable the cost is calculated according to the agreed itinerary and sightseeing plan of the trip; should you wish to change the itinerary at a later date or during the tour this will incur additional charges.
- Timing: The driver of the car will be available during the transfers and sightseeing according to the itinerary. If you wish to retain the services later in the evening, then you inform inform us in advance.
- Language: The driver will be able to understand basic English as he is experienced in accompanying overseas guests. However you have to speak to him slowly especially if you are speaking to him on phone.
- Change of vehicle : If the itinerary is a continuous road trip with no change in the mode of transport, we try to assign the same vehicle and driver for the entire duration of the trip.
- Air conditioning : Air conditioning in the car is switched off when travelling in the mountain regions.
- Roads in different regions : India is a very large country with a very wide variety of roads from modern highways to difficult to maintain roads in remote areas. Some of the roads deteriorate significantly post monsoon and some of the roads in the mountain areas could be in broken condition because they take more time to be repaired.
- Post monsoon the repairing work starts and it takes considerable time for the situation to improve. While priority is given in repairing the highways, the other roads takes more time. It is difficult to predict the situation of the smaller roads. So, if you are travelling on the mountains, it is likely that you may find damaged roads for stretches of 100 meters to 20 km in some areas.
- Land slides are a possibility in the mountains. This more so if you are travelling in Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal and Spiti area.
- Vehicle Breakdown : We will replace the vehicle from the nearest city where a replacement could be found.It may take upto 4-5 hours in some cases depending on the distance from the nearest city.
