Overview

CGH Brunton Boatyard - Cochin - Kerala

Located on the Fort Kochi estuary waterfront on the mouth of the Arabian sea, Brunton boatyard is inspired from its colonial history of British India when pepper from Kerala was considered as precious as gold. As the name indicates, it was a boatyard set up by renowned boat builders Mr. George Brunton and his two sons over a century ago. Brunton Boatyard is an amalgamation of the architectural splendour of Fort Kochi's colonial past blending the heritage and the modern, with all the comforts and conveniences of a luxury hotel.
The interiors reflect an eclectic but tasteful blend of English, Portuguese and Dutch influences as seen in its high ceilings, hanging fans and a plethora of artifacts and curios from a great mercantile age.
Most of the rooms have sea views, and even the bathrooms provide views of the fishing boats ships. Sitting on the waterfront you can spot Humpback dolphins !
