Overview

Corbett has landscapes that have few parallels anywhere in India. Dhikala’s vast grasslands, the wide riverbed of the Ramaganga, with several small streams flowing in the park, surrounded by Himalayan foothills and tall Sal trees. It is especially beautiful during winter mornings, when its misty golden sunrises and mysterious forests start waking up to the calls of the birds. Our guests will have the opportunity to go in track India’s elusive Bengal Tigers. The advent of summer especially brings them out of hiding and into the grasslands, along with hordes of elephants. Other mammals include four types of deer (chitals, barking deer, hog deer and sambar), otters and wild boars. Corbett is a heaven for bird lovers. Amongst other, the park is home to more than 40 species of raptors (= birds of prey) and 100’s of other bird species
