A short tour to explore the famous Queen of the Hills - Darjeeling and Neora Valley National Park in the Himalayas. An introduction to theeastern Indian Himalays with magnificent Kunchenjunga peak in the background and sprawling green tea gardens, snaking mountain roads and misty wlaks.
This will suite perfectly for week-ends or short holidays. This tour can be extended further by adding more days or more destinations.

Neora: The pristine forests of Neora Valley are home to several species of endangered wildlife as well as birds. Situated at the tri-junction of Sikkim, West Bengal and Bhutan, the area offers a jaw-dropping view of Kanchenjunga

Best Time to visit and climate:
The best time for this trip is October - April. Mayonwards is summer when Darjeeling suffers from water shortage  and then the monsoon prevails from July to September, leading to bad road and landslides.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1 – Delhi-Bagdogra-Darjeeling
Transfer to Bagdogra by Air
Transfer to Darjeeling ( 70 km / 3 hrs)
Day 2 – Darjeeling  
Early morning Sunrise trip to Tiger Hill summit.
Joy Ride (UNESCO heritage) toy Train:  Darjeeling to Ghum and back to Darjeeling with a 10 minutes stoppage at Batasia loop and 30 minutes stoppage at Ghoom Museum.
Afternoon Walk in the Mall
Visit Dali Monastery in the evening
Day 3 – Darjeeling
Visit Tukvar or Happy Valley tea garden
Experience walk to the heritage buildings, churches and visit to places of interest.
Day 4 – Darjeeling-Neora Valley
Transfer to Neora VAlley ( 80 km / 3.5 hrs)
Visit Chaggey fall and Kokhlam village
Day 5 – Darjeeling-Bagdogra - Delhi
Transfer to Bagdogra airport
Transfer to Delhi by Air
