Overview

Route : Delhi-Leh-Yangthang-Lamayuru-Nimmu-Nubra-Leh-Pangong-Leh-Delhi

There are few places left in the world like Ladakh, where the forces of nature conspired to create a land of fantasy and reality… a landscape of extremes… high altitude desert and blue waters… burning sun and freezing winds… glaciers, sand dunes and magnificent monasteries.
The place has been known for centuries as the ‘Land of Passes’ (La = pass + Dakh = land), and the people of Ladakh are mostly Mahayana Buddhists belonging to the sect of the Red or Yellow Lamas. The faces and physique of the Ladakhis, along with their traditional clothes, are more akin to those of Tibet and Central Asia than of India.
This is an exhilarating journey combining the thrill of a high altitude road trip with learning and exploring the culture of the Ladakh.
