A special tour to the heart of the tribal society of North Eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, where tribal life is still vibrating in spite of the many changes in the outside world. All these groups have their distinctive social and cultural identities, speaking different languages and dialects of the Tibeto-Burmese family and following different beliefs and customs. The tribes are integrated into groups independent of each other, living their separate lives threaded by the common pattern of life. The casteless societies are governed by chiefs and the adults are grouped according to their age for distinct social functions.

Ziro Valley iis renowned for its pine-clad rolling hills, unique paddy-cum-pisciculture farming, and the rich, sustainable culture of the local Apatani tribe.

Drive 5h to Along and proceed further to Wakh village to mingle with the Adi Gallong tribal community and enjoy their local cuisine..

Drive to Panging village, then hike for 3h to Komsing village – inhabited by the aboriginal Adi Myniong tribe. The hike also involves crossing the mighty Siang river over the iconic 110m long cane bridge made by the indigenous tribesmen.

Touphema (also spelled Tuophema) is a heritage tourist village in Nagaland, India, showcasing authentic Angami Naga tribal culture.

En route visit the Kohima museum – rich in traditional arts and craft. After lunch visit War Memorial, Kisema village (12 km from Kohima) - it is a Naga Heritage Village

Proceed to the Western Angami village Khonoma known their environmental protection activities and unique system of terraced paddy farming. After lunch a guided tour of the village.
